Private Practice Dermatology Group seeks Dermatology NP/PAs for the California Central Valley

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for a large private practice DERMATOLOGY group. The expert team of 4 dermatologists, 7 PAs and 2 NPs serves patients in 7 clinics with a broad range of medical and cosmetic dermatology services including Moh’s surgical procedures.  This is a terrific opportunity to join a growing team that is passionate about providing exceptional care to their patients. This practice provides acne care, Botox and dermal filler, micro-needling, skin cancer detection and treatment, annual skin cancer screenings, eczema, alopecia and rosacea as well as other services. 

Prior dermatology experience is ideal, but confident candidates with experience in emergency medicine, pain medicine, neurology, ENT, general or plastic surgery are encouraged to apply. Providers with an active CA license will receive priority attention. Whatever your skill set, they are ready to train/mentor committed practitioners in expanding and strengthening your skills.

You will earn a highly competitive base salary (based on experience) PLUS a percentage of your collections. An attractive benefit package is included. 

Responsibilities:

• Build and retain relationships with patients by treating every patient the way you would want your friends and family to be treated
• Provide outstanding dermatology care to patients with a wide variety of skin care needs
• Determine appropriate course of treatment through listening to patient concerns and conducting physical examinations and biopsies
• Educate patients about their skin conditions, treatments, medications, and best practices for skin cancer prevention
• Develop expert knowledge of skin ailments, treatments, and products through shadowing providers, attending trainings, and seeking learning opportunities
• Frequently consult with physicians on appropriate treatments and protocols
• Refer patients to Mohs surgeon or other providers as needed
• Prescribe medications as necessary
• Record medical information and data in practice’s medical records system

Job Details:

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses and treatment
• Build relationships with patients, value bedside manner, and possess excellent clinical skills
• Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care
• Communicate with patients regarding testing results, follow-up care, and additional information
